The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) in collaboration with the Southern African German Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a 17 member business delegation from Germany companies based in South Africa. The key objective of this business seminar was to showcase opportunities for investment, trade and other forms of business partnerships available in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Moreover, the seminar provided a forum to underscore to the German delegation that “Eswatini is Open for Business”, and is ready to be their gateway to the African market. These German companies were from energy, manufacturing aviation and inspection (standards) sectors. The hosting of the business seminar follows a visit undertaken by the EIPA to Johannesburg where they promoted Eswatini as an ideal investment destination.
The business seminar acted as a platform to strengthen economic & bilateral ties between Eswatini and Germany. Furthermore, the event also brought together German companies and local industry players together to explore areas of cooperation and secure partnerships for investment projects.
