Call for nominations for Exporter of the Year Awards 2022
Hosted by Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) and Business Eswatini with the support of the USAID TradeHub, the Exporter Awards seek to recognize and reward outstanding performance and noteworthy efforts of exporters in overcoming market entry barriers, achieving successful and consistent trade. The awards cover exports traded between the period of April 2021 – March 2022..
Two Award Categories:
Category 1: Exports to South Africa
- Best Exporter (SA)
- Best newcomer (greatest improvement / most progress)
- Greatest social impact (community development, women empowerment, most collaborative, etc)
- Top business woman
- Top young entrepreneur (18-35 years)
Category 2: Exports to U.S. under African Gorwoth and Opportunity Act (AGOA)
- Best Exporter (USA)
- Best new/latest entrant to US export under AGOA
- Consistent exporter to US under AGOA since entry
Invitation to apply or nominate an exporter
Eligibility
The participating business must be a privately owned business ultimately held by either a citizen or resident of Eswatini. Eligibility applies to exports to the South African and U.S. markets. Awards entries to be submitted according to the entry information below.
Nomination and filling of application form
Exporters to nominate themselves or another qualifiying corporate entity in any one of the listed categories of excellence where they feel qualified.
